The Muco & Friends Foundation

Growth

Over the years, the donation efforts expanded significantly. Initially, the family raised funds through markets and collections. Soon, they introduced their own initiatives such as the "Surprise Bag" and the "Monkey in Action" campaign.

Due to the success of the "Surprise Bag" sales, the family's desire to establish a foundation grew. That wish became a reality on August 16, 2013.

Muco Monkey

Muco is the adorable and brave little monkey that fights for people with CF. And Muco became the mascot of the Muco & Friends Foundation. Currently, Muco is the top-selling success of the Foundation! Muco has a few different types of friends, which can be seen in two ways.

Firstly, there are the ambassadors, volunteers, and sponsors of the Foundation. These friends make a significant contribution to fundraising for the Foundation.

Secondly, each sold Muco becomes a new owner's little friend. Often, these are children. We hear from parents that their children are often fond of Muco and love to play with it. Children take Muco everywhere they go: on vacation, to bed, when they go to stay over, or when they travel...

Custom Design

The adorable Muco monkey was developed in 2013 through close collaboration between the Muco & Friends Foundation and Happy Horse (the designer of soft, quirky stuffed animals). Happy Horse now provides a broader range of stuffed animals to the Muco & Friends' gift webshop, known as the Happy Shop.

CF Research

All the funds raised through activities and donations are deposited into the account of the Muco & Friends Foundation and are directed towards scientific research. Information about the scientific research can be found in the menu bar of this website.
